Software Engineer — Cloud Platform at CloudNine Ventures

Job Description

Build the core cloud cost-optimisation engine at CloudNine. You will work on complex distributed systems that analyse cloud billing data and surface saving recommendations in real-time. Fully remote, async-first culture.

Responsibilities

Build APIs and microservices for the cloud analytics platform
Integrate with AWS and GCP billing APIs
Implement automated cost optimisation algorithms
Write comprehensive tests and documentation
Participate in weekly all-hands and async standups

Requirements

2+ years of backend development experience
Experience with Go or Python
Familiarity with AWS/GCP APIs and pricing models
Strong interest in infrastructure and cloud computing
Comfort working in a startup environment

Skills Required
